Leaked: Broken Social Scene – Forgiveness Rock Record
Broken Social Scene's first album in five years has hit the net. Sounds like a natural evolution from their previous work, with more of a world music feel than the summery, beachy sound of their self titled album. Far and beyond my two favorites are below.

Recommended Album: Bacamarte – Depois do Fim
Symphonic/Progressive/Rock. One of the only albums to be released by the Brazilian band, and almost thirty years later it remains a progressive masterpiece. Heavy female vocals and synthesizers with excellent musicianship overall. The sound is frenzied but elegant and spacey. This album is too often overlooked but excellent all around.

"Roy (Woody Harrelson) and Jessie (Emily Mortimer) have just finished working with children overseas as part of a church project. Before flying back to the States, they decide to travel from Beijing to Moscow on the Trans-Siberian Express train, where they meet two fellow travelers, the handsome Carlos (Eduardo Noriega) and young Abby (Kate Mara). The couples bond, but gradually Jessie becomes worried that her new friends are involved in drug trafficking. At that point, the web has been spun, and when the intimidating Russian detective, Grinko (Ben Kingsley), arrives, Roy and Jessie become innocent targets in a dangerous chase."
Thriller/Suspense/Drama. An American couple decide to take the transcontinental Siberian train for the sake of a movie. Strong story backed up with excellent performances from Ben Kingsley and Woody Harrelson. The film creates a particularly tense atmosphere keeping it gripping all the way through.

Leaked: Caribou – Swim
The previously hyped album (by me) hits the internet, in full quality. The album has much more of an electronic/house sound than what he has done before, but it's even more complex and layered. Should be exciting as it gets more listens. Below is a previously unreleased track, Leave House.
